Vent

It feels awkward sometimes to strongly have the urge to reach out to people who you think probably don't give a fly about you, it feels more awkward when you are an over-thinker. It is comforting having a random chat with someone you have stuff going on for. Sometimes it comes with zero expectations, it's majorly for the soothing feeling that comes with it.

Truth is nothing prepares you for adulthood. It gets overwhelming most times. Managing your emotions and how you process things in your head. Feeling all alone in a crowd should be a course to study. To be honest,

That moment you feel like shutting the world out might seem depressing but it is just a mere response to mental stress. I want to believe we have all been there. Nothing prepares you for the aches rejection brings. Expectations are one thing that could get you messed up when not being met. To some people it feels like a sense of entitlement. If you ask me, feeling entitled is not a bad thing until it begins to come from a place of greed and a lack of empathy.

Finding someone who understands you sometimes feels like mission impossible. What really matters is you understanding yourself. Most people these days treat other people based on their past experience, everyone seems to be highly on guard, which I find to be great except that not everyone has the capacity to build a strong tower around themselves. Vulnerability might be a sign of weakness, but definitely not pathetic.

It is always easy to condemn irrational emotional actions that are awkwardly disturbing. These actions mostly come from a place of unpreventable isolation. It's tiring dealing with life alone, sometimes it's unintentional to want to do it all alone, most times you are conditioned to. Nothing feels more hurting like trying to hide your pain under a smile. Society has made dealing with things alone a norm or like some super hero myth. It's no fun, as a matter of fact it's mentally draining.

Lately I have found it comforting involving God in my daily life. Religion is so messed up and gets you doubting the effect and impact of getting close to God. To some it seems delusional, all I can bring to your knowledge is,never be dogmatic about anything, be open for knowledge so you can be granted the ability to understand. Don't wait to be tortured before you learn, it is never fun that way. Life is an adventure you need to explore. Be an explorer not a spectator.

It's important to see your effort and appreciate them, but priding over going through stuff alone is no flex. It's unhealthy isolating yourself to prove a point when going through life. Reaching out and getting rejected never should  stop you from trying elsewhere. Most times people will do you a favour just to prove a point, some will rub it on your face just to make you feel less of yourself. The most hurtful one is selling you out to people who later take advantage of it to make you feel worthless. Most important part of reaching out is serving its purpose.  That moment your heart feels heavy, it doest always matter who you vent to, what matters sometimes is lightening up.  When you pray for mercy and help, you indirectly manifest someone who can come to your aid. Sometimes it feels demanding, never be ashamed to vent. Most times the best people to vent to are total strangers. They don't find it demanding instead comforting. However don't forget to be a good listener yourself, sometimes people you vent to also have baggage they want to lift off their chest.

Nothing makes you feel like a total wreck like beating yourself up about things you have no control over, it gets you acting like a total jerk, no one will understand there is something messing you up mentally. It is hard to accept life bumps are temporary, but with the help of a third party you will.

VENT, THERE IS ALWAYS A LISTENING EAR YOU JUST NEED TO TRY.
