Danger Traveling Abroad in an Impecunious State

 

Living in a society where nothing seems to be working the way you plan can be frustrating. One can even say frustration is an understatement. Waking up in the morning with zero idea of the next step to take can be overwhelming, not to mention what to eat. Will it be right to blame  men and women, hell bent to travel abroad at all cost?. May be not. 

 It no longer News that an average of 50% of African in the prime of their youth travel out of their country with almost nothing in search of greener pastures, as 9 out of ten African youths aspirie to leave their country. Considering the economy in the country, Nigeria for example, is literally disturbing. Everything is basically Gold now. From feeding, to shelter, not to mention clothing, but what if I tell you that, irrespective of the bad economy of the country you can and will survive. 

Today, there are tons of smugglers in disguise as traveling agent, taking advantage of the country's situation and the vulnerability of people's ignorance to suit their inordinate desire for money, luring by false promises. Most of them, will say, all it requires is your international passport and visa. Nobody talks about the risk, and it sad that even those whom have been through this inhuman experience,don't come out to share their experiences, as in most cases they are too traumatized or fear being judged and stigmatized by the society, however few who mustered courage are often shunned and judged by the society. 

Most of this smugglers have been through this dehumanizing experiences, and know the risk it involved, but they always masks up and disguise the truth, as what they are only consigned about is the finacial benefit, with the notion of if I can survive it, they can. Therefore they come sugarcoating their success story to you, Who doesn't want to be free from a country, with zero interest of it citizen. 

Have seen people quit their job with high hopes of getting a better one, I have heard people who went as far as selling properties in a bid to falicitate their shoddy trip, and it only unfair that at they end up in slavery. Lot have lost their life , some their sanity, most lost their humanity and sense of morals. They are the men and women recruiting young girls and boys with impunity. The big question is, does it worth it? Careless parent, whom as failed in parenting will even voluntarily give out their innocent children to this beast in human form, with a notion of ( my child is traveling abroad ) without a complete knowledge of what their children is going for. Many has falling victim due to lack of proper parenting and ignorance. But the fact is ,mother nature don't recognize the ignorance of human. If a child play's with knife carelessly he or she will face the consequences irrespective of their ignorance. 

While some may said to be fortunate enough to travel by air as majority of this poverty escape travel by road,through the desert, over the sea, through the jungle, or even the tunnel underground,illegally migrating blindly from one country to another. The authorities in this countries most times capture them, imprison them with no food, no water. They become traumatized, in the process most will loose their lives, as it will become survival of the fittest. And let not forget some were even tricked into trading their organs for freedom, why some were forcefully put through the organ harvesting process. To cut the long story short as I believe most of us have in one way or the other heard about this absurd act of the immigration officers. Who in his/her right senses will embark on such horrific journey if told. It sad. 

After all this trauma, the fortunate ones eventually will make it to the promised land with a believe, the struggle ends the moment they arrive their destinated country. It sad as it only the beginning of the end. They are force into prostitution, homosexuality and all sort of sodomy act, with zero access to a family members, their leader on the other hand reap the benefits of thier labor, with the notion of “after all same was done to them”. However they go ahead Committing sin against humanity and their bodies, with no choice. Eventually they resign to fate, after reminiscing on what they've been through, friends they have lost and so on. Most will read this and still feel it just a story or just a scare. My dear it not but the reality of life. 

In life contentment is key, and vulnerability is not an excuse for stupidity, making a decision out of frustration is like jumping into an ocean with no life jacket, knowing fully well you can't swim. Majority of individual embarking on this deadly journey, in one way or the other are frustrated and lack contentment, the fact that the country as failed you doesn't mean you have to put your self through such physical and mental trauma. There is no magic to a beautiful life, yes, you have to take difficult decisions but my dear, be rational about it. Is true, whatever you set your mind to with determination you will achieved, but rationalism is key to the success of man. (life is not a bed roses they say, wait till you hit the success button then you realize life is a field filled with roses.) Irrational decisions will only lead to regret. 

Before you take decisions learn to confide in someone or search for more information about it on the Internet. Don't push situation, nobody said life is easy, but trust me everyone is struggling, we all going through difficulties, the only difference is, it more complicated than the other, whatever your situation is, I want you to know that it just temporary, but the knowledge and motivation you gain is what will guide you through the next huddle in life,because life is never balance, but your dynamic abilities to flow with the instability of life is what determines your expedition to suceed. 

It never wrong to dream of starting a new life abroad but please do it with dignity . I particularly care about you even if the government doesn't. Traveling by road or air in an impecunious state is dangerous. Let's save a life today, by creating an awareness together, because change begins with you and me. Share with everyone you know.
