Is Feminism African? Question we need answer to.

Before going into details, let me enlighten you on what feminism means.

There has been a lot of confusion lately about what the word "feminism" means. Though feminists repeatedly insist that their goal is gender equality, critics continue badgering them with accusations of hating men, reinforcing the gender binary, and pursuing other things "feminism" does not mean. So (short answer: It can mean a lot of things, but what it mostly comes down to is equality and being able to make the choices that are right for you).

First, in case you don't know the actual definition of feminism, it is "the advocacy of women's rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men," according to Google's dictionary. I'll admit this definition leaves something to be desired; modern feminism, for example, acknowledges more than two genders, so the movement is not just about advancing women. In addition, many have critiqued the notion that marginalized genders should aspire to assume the male gender role in our current society, since much of it is built around toxic masculinity and exists within a patriarchal system that should perhaps be dismantled altogether.

As an African, conscious of custom and tradition, do we believe in Feminism? According to the few stories and online  articles have raed about African traditions, it is said that a woman has to be submissive to a man. Even the Bibe, in the book of Genesis 3:16 said it all. As a lady we can't deny the fact that men are superior in everyway. They will always be king and we will always be Queen. No human has the right to go against the word of God.
Thus, the truth must be told, As a Queen you deserve to be respected by your king. It is his responsibility to take care of your needs, do everything in his power to give you comfort and happiness. As queen all of this  also apply to you. Irrespective of how financially buoyant a Queen is, she should never attempt to be king, a Queen who want her king to be respected and valued, must show an example to the kingdom.
However most of us claiming to be feminist don't even know what is really all about, we just blindly follow like it a trending dance challenge... Months ago I made an attempt of randomly asking an African lady who claims to be a feminist, what feminism was all about. According to her, not me. Lol "Feminism is a way of fighting for women right and proving to men, that we are equal" I was like, for real? Just that?. The amusing part of this is majority believe this.
Thus, am not against the fact that men and women should have equal right and opportunities, unlike back in the 70s,60s when the girl child was been highly denied of education, social right and so on. But don't you think feminist are going too far?
What is really the purpose of feminism? Have you ever ask your self.

Over time, feminist activists have campaigned for issues such as women's legal rights, especially in regard to contracts, property, and voting; body integrity and autonomy; abortion and reproductive rights, including contraception and prenatal care; protection from domestic violence, sexual harassment, and rape.
So Feminist are meant to flight for different causes, such as the right for women to vote, the right to work and the right to live free from violence.

Being a feminist doesn't mean you have to go has far as bullying your man all in the name of equal right or wearing a man's outfit on your wedding day, all in the believe of " what a man can do, a woman can do better " when you can wear you beautiful feminine outfit and look like the Queen you truly are. Common Laddies that going extreme. Have you ever notice that most feminist are either, divorce, single even at age 50, and unhappy.Let talk girly hon.😊 as a lady doing fine, financially and mentally, less stressed, eating healthy and so on. You will definitely need sex, you know, that man to grab you by the waist awwwn, kiss those sexy lips and look in your eyes to tell you how much he loves you and blah blah blah😁😁. If you ain't getting all of this, you can't be truly happy, let not deceive ourselves. And you should know the rules, if you want to be happy with a man you have to be submissive, no two ways about it. Don't be deceive by all this extremist who call themselves feminist.

The reason feminism has gotten such a bad reputation is because the extremist who run the organizations, bastardize the message of equality to suit their own agenda.
