Definition of a Man


I have seen tons of articles about the girl child and I believe this stands for all Laddies as well. I ask my self why does it always have to be about the Girl child. What about the Boy child, Their a lot happening to them as well. According to Preston maithya research, Boys are assumed to be tough and able to deal with their problems in their lives on their own. They are assumed to be less vulnerable to social misdeeds such as sexual harassment, child labor, violence among many others. This is wrong. Attention need to be given to them as well. Did you know?  On daily basis the Boy child, are being Molested, Raped, maltreated and Abandoned?. My Dad once told me a story about a young boy, who reside in the same neighborhood with his parent, in the city of Lagos while he was still a bachelor, back in the 90s. He was the first son of a family of three, where both mum and dad are as busy has the clock. This boy is know to be a active, intelligent and loyal. Due to his loyalty my dad's landlord picked interest in him. He was so close to the boy ,even more than his parent. This boy was always found in the landlord's apartment, almost everyday. On this faithful day, my dad noticed something about him, he doesn't seems to be happy about himself, his countenance and attitudes towards everyone was totally the opposite. As a Journalist and a Psychologist, he tried to gradually keep close watch on him. Only to find out he was been Molested. Meaning the landlord practice Homosexuality, and has threatened him not to ever mention to anyone. As soon as the landlord realised my dad already new about it, it resulted into an heart attack, which later migrated into stroke and eventually took his life. Now what would have become the life the innocent child... Now the question is who is careless? The parent? The society? The Government?, that left for you to answer. On a short not the boy child also deserve  some attention, let create the awareness... Not forgetting why we are here. Smile... 

All we hear about men are 80% negative, and i will say is due to the lack of the complete understanding of the general personality of a man. Have heard Laddies say all men are Actless, Mean,  Beast in human form. But deep down we know all men ain't the same. Have you ever wonder why some men act the way they actually do?
To find out why, we need to know the real the defination of a man.



Am a man -- I have pride
 
Am a man -- I am the Boss
Am a man -- have got egos 
Am a man -- I want peace
Am a man -- I am Strong
Am a man -- I value been respected
Am a man -- I am loyal
Am a man -- I provide shelter
Am a man -- I am a defender
Am a man -- I am a provider
Am a man -- I am a protector
Am a man -- I am a caregiver
Am a man -- I am a lover
Am a man -- I am the King.

If you can understand all these then you can relate with any man.
