Adulthood

Adulthood sometimes leaves you clueless about life. It can be overwhelming, especially when you have got to choose between good or bad. Your definitions of good and bad definitely have a huge influence on certain decisions you make. It's  important to be deliberate and realistic about your perception of life. It is easy to conclude on a certain philosophy that suits your current view of life but it will be a waste if it has no positive impact on your life.

Sometimes the societal school of thought about negativity is overrated. If you live by rules and order of things you might die unhappy. It is important to explore, but explore with boundaries. Risks are part of life but do it with caution.
Life sucks especially when things don't go the way you want them to go, it might make you feel completely useless, society calls it peer pressure, I call it self pressure. It's a pure response to a certain kind of anxiety. It is fine to feel worthless, sometimes life will push you to the mirror and all you can see is hopelessness, it is a sign of progress.

Life is beautiful when you are focused on what you want, acknowledge who you are and appreciate your little accomplishments. Everyone has had their own share of bitterness in life, it doesn't matter if it's big or small. It's important to respect and show a sense of value, magic ain't literally real.
Sometimes you are stuck between choosing between good and bad, before you decide, be realistic not sentimental. The ability to understand that there is time to be good and bad is a virtue.

As an adult you are held responsible for whatever happens in your life, good or bad. If going against tradition will bring a breakthrough, do it without hesitation because at the end of the day it is you against you, nobody cares until you become somebody. They will turn deaf ear to your screams and shut their eyes on your tears. However, some people do care, if only you can open your arms. Sometimes we overshadow ourselves on purpose with negative from our past experiences.
It's  true no one cares if you die or survive, but it's no lie someone somewhere  truly  cares and will go extra miles to make you feel whole. In every storm, there is always a standing tree, never hesitate to hold on to it, it doesn't make you weak, it simplifies strength.

Nothing is as confusing as knowing what to do after trying everything with no positive outcome. Sometimes it begins to feel like a block from a certain force. I believe in spirituality but sometimes, it's not related. You just need a little restructuring.
The only way we are built to recognize progress is through materialistic accumulations. Some great accomplishments are not visible to everyone. But in your heart you know you just had a win.

Adulthood will make you miss childhood sometimes, especially when independence starts to feel like punishment. Regardless, have fun when you can, give people a chance irrespective of what you have been put through by others. Everyone ain't the same, but set boundaries and stay on guard.
Never forget to put first, your peace, it should come before all else. You don't need to prove yourself worthy to anyone but God. Be open minded and accommodating. To tap into adulthood full potential, you have to let out your inner child. Set your soul free with boundaries though.

I love you
